Meet State
New, incoming students will feel at home right away when they get to campus. The Meet State team at SDSU comprises hundreds of faculty, staff and students from across campus who are excited to welcome you to the SDSU family. In fact, we’ll be there with a move-in crew when you arrive and help you prepare to take on student life at State!
Once you get settled into your room, we’ll help you get settled into campus. Friday evening is packed with activities to check out and meet your fellow Jacksrabbits. On Saturday, Convocation and the Thumpstart program are an excellent introduction to your academic journey at SDSU. And Sunday is all about exploring involvement opportunities outside of the classroom. By the time classes start, you’ll already know what to expect from lectures and labs, where to find food and fun, and you’ll be well-versed in the SDSU traditions that all Jackrabbits hold dear.
